Kokedama Workshop April 20th 10am
Kokedama Workshop April 20th 10am
Saturday, April 20th 10:00am-12:00pm
Kokedama is a style of Japanese bonsai in which a plant's root system is wrapped in moss and bound with string, transforming it into a living sculpture. Loosely translated, koke means 'moss' and dama means 'ball'. These decorative hanging plants are a strikingly beautiful accent for any room at home.
Each workshop attendee will receive all necessary materials including a plant, soil, moss and string. We'll end by discussing how to care for your new living art so you can keep it happy and healthy for years to come. This is a hands-on workshop and includes everything needed to create two kokedamas.
This workshop will be messy! Please dress accordingly.
This class is for ages 12 years and older.
No dogs please.
